Southern Chic Concierge, LLC is a full service concierge and lifestyle management company based in the Washington, D.C. area.  Owner Nakia P. Kelly, an experienced event planner, founded the company on the premise that everyone deserves to live a balanced and stress free life. 

The realities of work and home life often do not leave much time for leisure activities, relaxation and most important – family!  As requests for her advice expanded beyond her circle of friends, Nakia noticed a real need for a service that helped busy professionals & families alleviate the daily time consuming tasks on their “to-do list.”  At Southern Chic, a professional concierge is available to take care of those practical and necessary obligations so you can focus on other areas in your life. We’ll pick-up your dry cleaning, groceries and mail. We’ll water your plants while you’re on vacation; we’re happy to select the perfect gift for your significant other, grandma or co-worker; we can plan your parties and send out your invitations; and we can advise you on the best restaurant to take everyone – from a hot date to your in-laws.

Nakia is known for her extreme patience, calming nature, and passion for life’s little luxuries.  She is a dedicated self-starter who is goal-oriented, has a professional and positive attitude, and takes a proactive approach to everything she does. “At Southern Chic, we are extraordinarily passionate about what we do, and pride ourselves on exceptional service, creative ideas and helping our clients make important lifestyle decisions.” Nakia has a love for all things girlie, tackling DIY projects, reading magazines, hand written notes, cupcakes and many other things.  She personally believes that you should be living your best life and hopes to inspire others to feel the same way.
